Scott M. Goldberg

Scott
Goldberg founded the law firm with Steven Petrillo in 1993
in the Pennsauken, New Jersey location. At the time, both men
had successfully run for the prestigious office as Camden County
Freeholders.
Mr. Goldberg is the main trial attorney at the firm where
the lawyers believe in a team approach to handling cases. He
also works as a public defender for the Borough of Mount Ephraim
and gives free will-writing clinics through Camden County.
Mr. Goldberg is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
the U.S. Supreme Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals
and U.S. District Court in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania
Active in local government, Mr. Goldberg was a county freeholder
for two terms, clerk for the Camden County Planning Board and
commissioner for Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.
Currently Mr. Goldberg is on the board at the Camden County
Municipal Utilities Authority (CCMUA).
Mr. Goldberg graduated Cum Laude with a history degree from
Dickinson College. There he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta
International Fraternity and the Phi Alpha Theta International
History Honor Society. Mr. Goldberg earned his law degree from
Rutgers University in Camden.
Mr. Goldberg lives with his family in Haddonfield.

Steven Petrillo

With
his colleague Scott Goldberg, Steve Petrillo founded their firm
in 1993. The lawyers believe in the team approach to handling
cases, with Mr. Petrillo preparing the cases and covering the
details and Mr. Goldberg going to trials.
A former mayor, Mr. Petrillo is very active in his hometown of
Pennsauken. Mr. Petrillo has been Township Committeeman since
1989, was mayor in 1997 and public safety director from 1994
to 1998 and 2002 to 2005. He is an Associate Pastor and Elder
at Christ's Bible Church in Pennsauken.
Mr. Petrillo was a Camden
County Freeholder from 1993 to 1994 and New Jersey General
Assembly from 1994 to 1995.
Mr. Petrillo graduated with honors
from Dartmouth College with degrees in religion, philosophy
and government. He earned his
law degree from Rutgers University in Camden.
A veteran attorney,
Mr. Petrillo has been working with personal injury cases since
he graduated from Rutgers. Mr. Petrillo
says he is an old-fashioned lawyer who meets face-to-face
with his
clients on a regular basis which builds trust over time.

Scott D. Schulman

Scott
D. Schulman has been named a partner of the firm effective January
2004. Mr. Schulman joined the firm in 1995 as an associate practicing
in the areas of motor vehicle,
premises liability and workers' compensation litigation. With
the firm, Mr. Schulman has obtained favorable jury verdicts in
complex motor vehicle accident trials and successfully litigated
numerous workers' compensation claims. Mr. Schulman is currently
responsible for the workers 'compensation litigation department
and managing the Pennsylvania personal injury litigation department
as well as handling many other matters in New Jersey.
Mr. Schulman received his B.A. degree in economics from Emory
University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991 and his J.D. degree from
Emory University School of Law in 1994. Mr. Schulman is licensed
to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Georgia and is
a member of the Camden County Bar Association, New Jersey State
Bar Association, New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia
Bar Association and the Georgia State Bar Association.

Jeff Thiel

Attorney
Jeffrey M. Thiel has recently joined the law firm of Petrillo
and Goldberg.
Before joining Petrillo and Goldberg, Mr. Thiel was an associate
at Thatcher, Passarella & Thatcher in Runnemede, New Jersey,
where his practice centered on personal injury and real estate
law.
Mr. Thiel earned his Law Degree in 2004 from Rutgers Law School
in Camden. While in law school, he clerked for the New Jersey
Department of Agriculture and worked as a brief writer for the
Law Guardian Division of the Public Defender’s office,
where he advocated on behalf of neglected and abused children.
Mr. Thiel graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania
in 1999 with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. He is
a member of the Camden County Bar Association, New Jersey Bar
Association, and American Bar Association. Mr. Thiel is admitted
to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He currently resides
in Marlton, New Jersey.
