FAQs
If you’ve been injured, let us help fight for your compensation.
What could cause my claim for workers’ compensation to be denied?
Your claim for workers’ compensation could be denied if you waited too long to file it or if the accident or sickness that resulted in your disability did not take place during the course of your employment. In addition, your claim could be denied if you have insufficient or incomplete medical records. Your claim may also be denied if you are incapable of proving that the injury you suffered at work was the actual cause of your current disability.
In the event your claim is denied, you can file an appeal by asking for a hearing in front of the Workers’ Compensation Board. The hearing may be formal or informal, depending on your preference.
